By using GoalStreet, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
- Email Address: Used for account creation, authentication, and account recovery.
- Password: Securely handled by Firebase Authentication. GoalStreet does not store your password directly.
- User ID (UID): Generated by Firebase Authentication to uniquely identify your account.
- Gameplay & Learning Progress: Includes created teams, formations, quiz scores, completed modules, leaderboard rankings, credits, and match performance.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Create and manage your GoalStreet account
- Save your football teams and match progress
- Track quiz results and learning module completion
- Display leaderboard rankings
- Improve gameplay experience and app functionality
3. Leaderboards & Public Visibility
GoalStreet includes quiz and football performance leaderboards.
Other users may see a shortened version of your email username
(for example: john12...) along with your quiz scores,
football points, and formations.
Your full email address is never publicly displayed.
4. Use of Device Features
GoalStreet only requires internet access for app functionality.
The app does not request sensitive device permissions such as
camera, microphone, location, or contacts access.
5. Third-Party Services
GoalStreet uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase Authentication: For secure account login and authentication.
- Firebase Firestore: For securely storing user progress, teams, quiz scores, and leaderboard data.
- Fantasy Premier League Public APIs: Used to retrieve football fixtures, player data, and team information.
6. Football Data Sources
GoalStreet uses publicly available football data from Fantasy Premier League (FPL)
APIs and related Premier League resources to display fixtures,
player information, and football-related gameplay content.
GoalStreet is an independent educational application and is not affiliated with,
endorsed by, or associated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.
7. Data Storage & Security
User data is securely stored using Firebase services.
We use industry-standard security measures to help protect your information.
- Authentication managed through Firebase Authentication
- User progress and gameplay data stored in Firebase Firestore
- Secure encrypted communication over the internet
8. Local Device Storage
GoalStreet may store limited app preferences locally on your device,
such as onboarding or tutorial completion states,
to improve user experience.
9. Data Sharing
GoalStreet does not sell, rent, or trade user data.
Your information is shared only with the third-party services required
for app functionality, such as Firebase services.
10. Data Retention & Account Deletion
User gameplay progress and account data are retained while your account remains active.
Users can request account deletion directly within the app
or by contacting us via email.
If you request account deletion:
- Your authentication account may be permanently removed
- Your saved teams, progress, quiz data, and leaderboard data may also be deleted
- All associated gameplay and account-related data may be permanently removed from our systems
11. Children’s Privacy
GoalStreet is intended for users aged 13 and above.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.
Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
