When users choose to upload or capture photos while reporting a civic issue, these images are stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage. Images are used solely as evidence to support issue reporting and resolution and are not used for advertising or marketing.

4. Voice Input (Optional)

CitiFix offers an optional speech-to-text feature to simplify complaint reporting. Voice input is used only to convert speech into text and is not recorded or stored.

7. Email-Based Complaint Routing

CitiFix sends complaint emails to authorities on behalf of users using send-only email permission. CitiFix does not read or access the user’s email inbox. Authority replies are retrieved only from CitiFix’s official email account.

8. Data Storage & Security

Local Draft Storage

CitiFix may temporarily store unsent complaint drafts locally on the user’s device to support offline usage and prevent data loss. This draft data is stored only on the device and is not transmitted to our servers unless the user chooses to submit the complaint.

9. Data Sharing

CitiFix does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Complaint details are shared only with relevant civic authorities for issue resolution.

10. Public Visibility of Complaints

Reported civic issues may appear in a public feed within the app to improve visibility and community engagement. Personal identifiers are never shown publicly.

CitiFix is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
